Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO)
- Operate warehouse equipment including order pickers and pallet jacks
- Enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Complete daily equipment maintenance logs and safety checklists
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
