Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement and stacking
- Conduct quality inspections and document inventory with RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Coordinate with warehouse team for timely loading/unloading of trailers
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance checks
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock rotation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid OSHA-compliant cold weather PPE training
- Forklift certification (or ability to complete company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
