Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and monitor temperature controls
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and stock management protocols
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards for food-grade facilities
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas following HACCP guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (0°F to 40°F)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
