Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (0°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and package perishable goods with strict quality control
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Inventory management using WMS systems and barcode scanning
- Rotate stock using FIFO principles to minimize spoilage
- Report equipment malfunctions and environmental deviations immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in cold environments (0-40°F)
- Valid driver's license and forklift certification a plus
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pre-employment drug screening required
