Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks while maintaining temperature integrity
- Operate and monitor cold storage equipment to ensure optimal temperature ranges (-10°F to 40°F)
- Perform inventory counts and data entry in warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance) and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with quality control team for product inspection and documentation
- Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records and paperwork
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
