Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and document product quality and storage conditions
- Follow strict sanitation protocols and HACCP guidelines
- Coordinate inventory management and stock rotation
- Load/unload shipments while maintaining cold chain integrity
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
