Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment with precision
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO methods in cold environments
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance procedures
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (32°F - 0°F)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic inventory management system knowledge
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
