Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor 15+ warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift operators
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct daily safety audits
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with 3PL partners
- Implement process improvements to boost efficiency by 20%
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for senior leadership
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues
- Train staff on new equipment and SOPs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with cross-docking and JIT inventory models
