Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory counts and stock rotation in cold zones
- Enforce strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Operate cold storage equipment and report maintenance needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of temperature logs and inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
