Responsibilities
- Operate refrigeration systems and monitor temperature controls to maintain optimal storage conditions (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks and palletize products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct regular inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO) in cold environments
- Adhere to HACCP standards and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of temperature logs and inventory movements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
