Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in -10°F to 0°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels using RF scanners and maintain accurate digital records
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report temperature deviations immediately
- Execute sanitation procedures to maintain HACCP standards in cold zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Participate in safety drills and maintain OSHA-compliant work practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
