Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control and monitoring of refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect, unload, and organize perishable goods with strict adherence to FIFO protocols
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct regular sanitation and hygiene checks to meet HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage workflows
- Adhere to all OSHA and cold safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid forklift certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
