Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided) with zero-accident standards
- Conduct daily sanitation checks and maintain HACCP compliance protocols
- Coordinate inventory cycles using WMS systems and report discrepancies
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards for cold environments and PPE usage
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance in digital tracking systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- High school diploma or equivalent required
