Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Ensure proper food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Load/unload trucks and organize pallets in frozen/refrigerated zones
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid Alaska driver's license preferred
