Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in -10°F to +35°F storage zones
- Safely handle, palletize, and organize perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Perform sanitation duties including blast freezing room cleaning and sanitation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to support shift flexibility (including weekends)
