Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products
- Conduct thorough inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Implement strict sanitation protocols for equipment and facility hygiene
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report irregularities
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for efficient product flow
- Maintain accurate documentation of storage conditions and inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
