Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize refrigerated/frozen products in cold storage facilities
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (training provided), and warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and temperature control standards
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures including proper PPE usage in cold environments
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as 0°F (-18°C)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
