Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities maintaining precise humidity and climate conditions
- Execute inventory management protocols using WMS systems with real-time tracking
- Implement HACCP standards for food safety and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment and monitoring systems
- Conduct quality audits on perishable goods and document discrepancies
- Utilize digital tools for shift reporting and operational optimization
- Train on emergency response protocols for equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in cold storage, warehousing, or logistics preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitoring devices
- Proficient in digital inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Physical stamina to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with quality control mindset
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
