Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within temperature-controlled facilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to FIFO inventory protocols
- Conduct quality inspections on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Sanitize equipment and maintain clean work areas per FDA standards
- Assist with inventory audits using barcode scanning technology
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Willingness to work in cold environments with appropriate PPE
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
