Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Monitor and document storage conditions using digital systems
- Prioritize FIFO inventory rotation procedures
- Perform routine sanitation and safety inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
