Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments
- Perform inventory management using RF scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics
- Maintain detailed records of storage conditions and inventory movements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environments
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
