Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload temperature-sensitive products
- Implement strict FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation procedures
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and storage facilities
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for refrigerated environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 35°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10 certification a plus
