Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in FIFO manner
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment with precision
- Conduct daily sanitation checks and adhere to HACCP compliance standards
- Manage inventory rotation and perform cycle counts with accuracy
- Document all warehouse activities in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are mandatory
