Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Inspect and record product quality/quantity upon receipt and dispatch
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols at all times
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with inventory management systems for accurate stock rotation
- Train on and enforce OSHA-compliant safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Food Handler's Certification preferred
