Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate cold room equipment (conveyor systems, dock doors)
- Sanitize storage areas following FDA guidelines
- Monitor humidity levels and equipment functionality
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus (training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Punctual attendance record required
