Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using FIFO principles
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and conduct quality checks on perishable goods
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Perform routine sanitation procedures to meet USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Operate automated warehouse systems and temperature monitoring equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
