Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trailers and organize inventory in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Monitor and record warehouse temperatures, humidity levels, and equipment performance to ensure compliance with HACCP standards
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols, including proper PPE usage and cleaning procedures for food safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and meet daily production targets
- Participate in mandatory safety training and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with experience in inventory management systems
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
