Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain proper inventory rotation
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and monitor storage conditions
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following HACCP protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods before storage
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize space utilization
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and personal protective equipment requirements
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company training)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
