Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 45°F)
- Safely unload, palletize, and organize perishable inventory using forklifts
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Operate pallet jacks and refrigeration equipment with precision
- Complete digital inventory logs and warehouse management system entries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless shipping/receiving
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail in inventory control and record-keeping
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
