Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely handle, palletize, and inventory perishable goods
- Operate forklifts and cold storage equipment per OSHA standards
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols
- Perform preventative maintenance on storage units
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
