Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage facilities
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment safely
- Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies immediately
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to FIFO inventory methods
- Complete accurate documentation using warehouse management systems
- Follow strict safety protocols for cold environments and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Forklift certification or ability to pass training
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
