Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage systems and maintain optimal refrigeration conditions (32°F-40°F)
- Handle and organize perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks with precision
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Execute inventory management tasks using WMS technology
- Implement strict sanitation protocols in compliance with FDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily distribution targets
- Participate in emergency response drills for temperature deviations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in refrigerated environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
