Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control (-10°F to 40°F) across 15+ cold storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to organize/rotate perishable inventory
- Conduct daily safety audits on refrigeration systems and equipment
- Implement FIFO inventory protocols using WMS barcode scanning systems
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment according to HACCP standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Document inventory movements in real-time using digital tracking platforms
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Certification in OSHA refrigeration safety protocols preferred
- Valid forklift certification with 2+ years operational experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for temperature deviations
- Flexible availability including overnight/weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
