Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature protocols
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock using FIFO methods
- Perform quality checks on perishable products upon receipt
- Maintain sanitation standards through daily cleaning of storage areas
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements in digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail in quality control processes
- Ability to work in cold environments for 8-hour shifts
