Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for product movement
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Manage inventory using barcode scanning systems
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces to meet food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
