Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and facilities
- Rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methods
- Complete accurate inventory logs and shipping documentation
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule (including nights/weekends)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
