Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units (-20°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and compliance
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA food safety protocols
- Perform inventory management using WMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
