Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload refrigerated trucks and containers while maintaining product integrity.
- Inventory Management: Organize, stock, and rotate inventory within strict temperature-controlled zones.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock efficiently.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify accuracy against packing slips.
- Reporting: Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in environments below 40°F.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctual attendance and dependable work performance.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
