Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks with perishable goods
- Conduct daily sanitation and hygiene checks following HACCP protocols
- Inspect and rotate inventory to ensure FIFO compliance and product freshness
- Complete detailed inventory logs and shipping/receiving documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management and record-keeping
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
