Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using provided hydraulic equipment
- Maintain precise inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Monitor and adjust refrigeration units using digital control panels
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for perishable goods
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- OSHA-certified forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid Louisiana driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
