Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (equipment provided) to move refrigerated products
- Maintain strict temperature monitoring protocols (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Inspect and clean storage racks, floors, and equipment daily
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation procedures
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all tasks
- Assist with loading/unloading refrigerated trucks using provided equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 32°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all roles)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with provided equipment assistance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- No cold storage experience necessary – full training provided
- Reliable transportation to Indianapolis facility
