Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload frozen, refrigerated, and dry goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and sanitize storage equipment, racking, and floors daily
- Operate inventory management systems to track product movement
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet shipping/receiving deadlines
- Document inventory discrepancies and maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
