Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and temperature monitoring equipment
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive goods using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory records and stock rotation in cold storage units
- Enforce safety protocols for cold environments and hazardous materials handling
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance checks
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product flow
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or environmental deviations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in 0-40°F (-18-4°C) environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- OSHA 10 or equivalent safety certification preferred
