Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products with precision
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Perform routine sanitation procedures on equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Monitor and report temperature deviations to prevent product spoilage
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with proper equipment
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Physical stamina to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
