Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities and refrigerated equipment
- Load/unload pallets using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain precise inventory records in digital tracking systems
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety protocols (HACCP)
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Monitor and document storage conditions (temperature/humidity)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments with provided thermal gear
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train with provided equipment)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with provided ergonomic tools
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
