Responsibilities
- Safely handle and store perishable goods in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanners
- Maintain HACCP compliance protocols for food safety
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity levels hourly
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas per FDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (paid training)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- 1+ year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid California driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
