Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities (-20°F to 40°F) using provided refrigeration equipment
- Safely handle and store perishable goods including meats, produce, and frozen products
- Maintain precise inventory records using provided digital scanners and inventory systems
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and calibration as per provided protocols
- Adhere to strict sanitation and HACCP standards using provided cleaning equipment
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Report equipment malfunctions using provided communication devices
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with provided protective gear
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain with company-provided training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems (training provided)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete company-provided course
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly with provided ergonomic equipment
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring and documentation
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays with provided advanced scheduling
