Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in -20°F to 40°F storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and organize inventory using barcode scanning and warehouse management software
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA sanitation standards for food-grade facilities
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using provided hydraulic lifts
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment training
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler's Certificate a plus
