Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and temperature-controlled environments
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in sub-zero conditions
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity data using provided digital monitoring tools
- Perform preventive maintenance checks on refrigeration equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-provided certification
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
