Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and document environmental readings
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow during peak processing times
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
